I felt right at home, thanks to the friendly staff and the calm, quiet environment. The location in Mapusa is perfect, with everything you need within walking distance. The staff, particularly Edwin Sir, were extremely helpful and kind throughout my stay. What impressed me even more was when I had an emergency a few days after I vacated the hostel, and I reached out to them for assistance. They kindly provided me with a room without any extra charges, which was a huge help during a difficult time. The other residents were also very friendly, making it easy to feel part of a community. Even though we stayed away from home, we didn't miss our home that much, thanks to the homely atmosphere and the care provided by the staff. The hostel's peaceful surroundings and beautiful setting made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Very nice place. Calm and quite. You get all the amenities. Washing machine, induction cooktop, fridge, wifi. The owner Mr. Edwin is very friendly. Totally loved the stay at sevilha sousa' for one month.

One cannot say that this place is a hostel. Its like a beautiful home that is so welcoming and comforting. I lived here for 3 years. All basic amenities are provided. The food is quite homelike with amazing milkshakes everyday. Also if you are cat lover you will not be disappointed. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. loved my stay here.

Home away from home. From the minute you enter the gate you feel comfort as you're greeted with warm owners and beautiful cats and dogs! I moved into the hostel 2 months back. The rooms are clean and there's different rooms for different budgets. You can share with someone or get an independent room with or without a washroom as per your budget and comfort. There's a shared pantry equipped with a fridge and induction, it has enough space to make your own meals. The hostel also provides breakfast and dinner which saves a lot of time and effort everyday. The dinner always consists of a very balanced diet including chapatis, rice, dal, 2 vegetables, pickle, curd and there's always either chicken, fish or boiled eggs. Breakfast has chapatis, a vegetable, toast, pav, butter, jam and tea. Everyone's birthday is celebrated with cake, ice cream and songs which really makes you feel at home. The garden in the back also has a washing machine and an area to dry clothes. The owner's are very kind and always there to speak to if you have any problems, they remind me of my grandparents and as I'm diabetic, they're always making sure I'm eating right and they're also very respectful. The location is great too as it's a 10 minute walk from Mapusa Bus Stand and there's also buses outside the main gate of the hostel every 15 minutes that go to the bus stand if you don't feel like walking, plus there's parking if you have your own transport. There's grocery shops, vegetable/fruit vendors and a pharmacy right outside the hostel. All in all, Sevilha Sousa Girls Hostel is the perfect place if you're new to Goa and looking for an all girls stay.
